Michelle Gomez is a Scottish actress. She is known for her comedy roles in The Book Group, Green Wing and Bad Education, as well as playing Missy – the female incarnation of The Master in the long running British science-fiction programme Doctor Who from 2014 to 2017, for which she was nominated for the 2016 BAFTA TV Award for Best Supporting Actress.
