Description
A bladed weapon used by Dame Vaako (Thandie Newton) in the Vin Diesel sequel The Chronicles of Riddick. Riddick (Vin Diesel), hidden for five years after the events of the movie Pitch Black, is forced to come out of hiding to fight the villainous Necromongers, and fulfil a dark prophecy in the process.
This style of futuristic weapon was used when Aereon (Judi Dench) is brought aboard Dame Vaako’s vessel for interrogation. This weapon is made from medium-hard rubber and painted a dark bronze and silver colour on the blades. Rubber blades are used when the metal blades would of been too dangerous to use in the fast-paced action scenes. This piece has been intentionally weathered and distressed, with some signs of additional production wear, which is to be expected for a prop of this kind.
In a very good production-used condition, the weapon measures 88cm (34.5") in length.
