Description
This piece is an unpainted, unused prototype of the belt and codpiece that is a part of Veidt’s Ozymandias superhero costume at the climax of the film. An interpretation of the original costume in the graphic novel, the piece plays off the character’s Egyptian motif with an eye of Horus as the belt’s centerpiece. Made of black-tinted foam latex, this belt features a Velcro back and plastic reinforced cod piece. There are two straps on the inside of the belt likely meant to attach to other parts of the complete costume. This item features minor wear to the material due to production use, but remains in overall very good condition.
