Description
This ID card was used by the character Charles Weyland, billionaire and the founder of Weyland Industries. Weyland and his team wore ID badges in plastic sleeves on the arm and chest of their jackets. The ID displayed is an arm ID card, worn in a pocket on the left sleeve.
Made from plastic, the laminated ID card features a photograph of Weyland with an American flag placed underneath, and statistics for his character including his age, ID number, weight, eye colour, hair colour and a retinal scan barcode. ‘Weyland Insustries’ is printed along the top in yellow and ‘Crew Identification’ is printed at the bottom in the same style. The card also has his known allergic reactions and medical history which helps explain his deteriorating health in the film. The card has been mounted in a custom-made display with a blue laser-cut board with the Alien Vs. Predator logo and a movie still featuring Charles Weyland. The display also features a certificate of authenticity from 20th Century Fox. The display measures 45cm x 38cm (18” x 15”) and remains in excellent condition.
