Description
The coat is made from a khaki rigid canvas with green netting sections present under the sleeves and on the pockets near the front. Large metal eyelets and wooden toggles feature all over the coat as ‘decorative’ features and green cord loops are attached down the left front side and at the pockets. Made from a brown textured fabric, the waistcoat features padding with vertical lines of stitching all over. The front features two pockets at the bottom and a curved pocket on the right breast with all of them edged with brown bias binding. The back of the waistcoat is slightly longer and curved. This set also has a sheet with printed images taken on set of Dourdan in the costume with reference notes written to the side of each image.
The coat has been intentionally distressed to give it a rugged appearance with markings and various stitching all over used to repair tears, and the waistcoat has some paint markings on the back. The set remains in very good production-used condition.
