Im offering a high quality reproduction of the Nine Gates of the Kingdom of Shadows WEATHERED book prop from Roman Polanskis The Ninth Gate. My latest versions are what I consider as close to the screen used prop as I can ever get. The pages are individually numbered . These pages are laser printed onto accurate A4 sized 100gsm ivory textured paper and then cut to the dimensions of the original prop (6.5 x 10). The page edges are then weathered by hand with a mixture of tea and coffee. Once this is done, the pages are then sent to the professional binders who will sew and bound them in dark brown lambskin leather. The bound book has the five raised ridges on the spine, the embossed fleur de lis frame on the front and back with the gilded pentagram (and fleur de lis design inside it) on the front. The cover is also mildly weathered, i.e. the edges, the spine ridges. I can also do all film variations of the book; the Balkan version with the discoloration on the back cover, the Fargas version as well as the Kessler version on order. I can also do a book with all 9 LCF woodcuts with the genuine 9th woodcut.
