Smallville Inspired Lana Lang Kryptonite Necklace Clark: You found your necklace. Lana: After all the pain it caused you, Im surprised you still have it. Clark: How could I throw away something that means so much? I still remember seeing you wear this in high school. I couldnt get within five feet of you without falling over. Lana: Even after your ship got rid of the kryptonite, there always seemed to be something standing in our way. - Smallville, season eight_ Im a huge fan of Smallville, the tv series that follows Clark Kent (Tom Welling) in the fictional town of Smallville, Kansas, before he becomes known as Superman. During the show Lana Lang, Clarks love interest, owned a necklace made out of meteor rock from the 1989 meteor shower that killed her parents. The necklace had a green color, like the kryptonite rock. During season two the necklace was neutralized by Clarks spaceship that emitted a burst of light that neutralized the necklace, turning it clear and harmless. In season eight, when Lana returned to Smallville, Clark gave her back her necklace. Lana wore it once more and left Smallville with the object that first separated Clark from her. I decided to make a necklace inspired by the one worn by Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk) during the tv show, because it remember me the incredible, immense and pure love between Clark and Lana and all the obstacles they faced during their relationship. For this necklace I used an authentic 10mm Swarovski green crystal (not glass or acrylic, its real Swarovski crystal) set by a stainless steel pin with a tiny stainless steel chain. The chain measures 40 cm and has a size of 1,8mm x 2mm. You can choose the main color of the crystal: - GREEN for the most common form of Kryptonite, a radioactive ground mineral that emits a radiation that is extremely toxic to super-powered Kryptonians. - WHITE-TRANSPARENT for the neutralized kryptonite. - RED for the Red Kryptonite, a mineral from the planet Krypton that removes inhibitions from Kryptonians and humans alike making them reckless, evil, and dangerous. - BLUE for the Blue kryptonite, a mineral from the planet Krypton that strips Kryptonians of their powers for as long as theyre exposed.
